  1. IMPPCX.DLL - Import .PCX Filter

  4. Locate the file IMPPCX.DLL in the \CORELDRW\FILTERS directory and rename it to IMPPCX.OLD. Copy the new IMPPCX.DLL into the directory. Start Corel DRAW and verify that the new filter is indeed loaded by selecting FILE and IMPORT PCX and checking the "about" box. The version number should be 3.00 Rev B+.

  7. If you are encountering problems having the aspect ratio of your imported .PCX files maintained, please add the following two lines to the end of your CORELDRW.INI file.

  13. where 0 = NO,   1= YES     (Default = 0)

  15. UseResolution=0    The filter will ignore the X and Y values supplied in the .PCX file.  This means that the file will import 'Fit to Page' however, the aspect ratio will be maintained.

  17. UseResolution=1    The filter will use the X and Y values supplied in the .PCX file.  The aspect ratio of the file MAY be distorted.  If this is the case change the UseResolution value to 0.
